Founder, Las Vegas Record Sealing
30 years of Nevada criminal defense experience. AV Preeminent rated. Native Nevadan.
Kenneth A. Stover is a native Nevadan and the founder of Las Vegas Record Sealing. With 30 years of legal experience — more than 25 of them devoted exclusively to criminal defense — Ken brings an unusually deep understanding of Nevada's courts, its criminal statutes, and the real-world consequences a criminal record carries for working people.
Before entering private practice, Ken served as a Deputy District Attorney in Lander County and Lyon County, and as a Special Prosecutor for the cities of Reno and Sparks. That prosecutorial background gives him a perspective few defense attorneys have: he knows how the other side builds its cases, and he knows what it takes to get a petition approved.
Over the course of his career, Ken has represented clients in more than 70 Nevada courts and has focused his practice entirely on litigation. He founded Las Vegas Record Sealing to extend that expertise to individuals throughout the state who deserve a genuine second chance — and to pair them with trusted local attorneys who understand Nevada's record sealing laws inside and out.
Ken has been recognized by the State Bar of Nevada as its highest-rated DUI defense lecturer (2008) and has lectured for the Truckee Meadows Police Academy. He currently serves as a mentor through the State Bar of Nevada and is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association.
